Head on over to www.whipstitchbackstitch.wordpress.com for a sneak peak at my contribution to the Emily Carr student art sale, a selection of one-of-a-kind plush creatures!
They were (and are) so much fun to make. Stay tuned to whipstitch.backstitch. for more creature updates!

Comment by thewanderingobserver November 12, 2007 @ 11:45 pmmost certainly interested in whipping up a customized fox for you. (It could match your halloween costume!)
Comment by Lauren Selden November 19, 2007 @ 1:20 amWhy do I envision my great-aunties??? Somehow, a mink stole leaps to mind…a lovely sarcastic remark on how sad it is to see those little eyes staring out at you on one of those little minks (is that plural for mink?)!
And…how did it go for you? Did you sell anything?
Comment by westergaardtuepah November 19, 2007 @ 6:17 pmIt went quite well- I sold 10 items. I was surprised that the snails didn’t sell, they’re my favorites.
Comment by Lauren Selden November 19, 2007 @ 7:37 pmThose are great. They remind me of more functional stuffed animals that can sit on the furniture and blend in as pillows. Good camouflage. How much do you sell them for anyways?
Comment by plingativator November 21, 2007 @ 6:45 pmG- I priced them between 15 and 25. I’ll probably be pricing them up in the future though.
